Mo i Rana Airport
Mo i Rana Airport is a regional airport. and located about 10 kilometres north of Mo i Rana. The airport is one of many STOLport (Short Take-Off and Landing) airports in north Norway. The airport is served by Dash 8 aircrafts connecting the community to Trondheim, from there you can travel to the capital Oslo. The Wideroe Dash 8 is a small aircraft with 39 seats.
Mo i Rana features extensive road and rail connections to the rest of Norway. Mo i Rana is connected to the Nordland Line railway. This is a railway line between Trondheim and Bodø. The main north-south highway in Norway, European route E6, passes through the city. The European highway E12 begins in Mo i Rana and connect the city to Sweden in the west.
